Pelini wants defense to toughen up
The Nebraska Cornhuskers were always known to have a tough, aggressive defense in their hey-day, but things have changed.
In fact, head coach Bo Pelini believes that his defense is playing soft right now and needs to get tougher.
Nebraska won their season opener in impressive fashion, routing Florida Atlantic 49-3, but it didn’t matter to Pelini.
The head coach felt that the defense needed to be more physical and can’t allow that many yards against good teams.
It will be interesting to see how the defense responds to their coach’s demands next time out.
