Nebraska comes up short in upset bid, 91-87
The Nebraska Cornhuskers came up just short in their road upset bid of the No. 7 Kansas State Wildcats, 91-87.
Nebraska trailed by six with under one minute to play but rallied back to tie with just over 30 seconds remaining.
After working so hard to come back, the Cornhuskers quickly threw the effort away with a silly foul at midcourt.
A couple of free throws and a fast break dunk later, and Nebraska was heading home with another loss.
Ryan Anderson led the team with 22 points and six rebounds while Brandon Richardson added 15 points.
